Welcome to my portfolio! I am Marilyn Pinson (Stewart), a fifth-year Master of Arts in Chaplaincy and Ministry Care student at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). This portfolio is a culmination of the projects and endeavors I have been engaged in throughout my internship. After I graduate, I will be a Marketplace Chaplain in a corporate environment that encourages and supports employees facing life challenges. Another desire is to launch or be a part of a parachurch ministry that nurtures women’s spirits, souls, and bodies. I pray this snapshot of my service demonstrates who I am in Christ.

Salvation Experience
I gave my heart to the Lord on a Friday night during a summer revival at Springfield Baptist Church in Gibsland, LA. It was indeed a special time for me. It has been an incredible faith journey. I am excited about the coming seasons.
I learned about the love of God from my paternal grandparents in a little farm community. It was under our summer oak tree I read the scripture to my grandfather and learned about the sovereignty of God and the power of prayer from my grandmother. Often, gathering our entire family into their bedroom on Sunday evenings to exalt God in prayer.
